Our NMU partners from the Universities of Applied Sciences Kiel and Bremen organised the expert conference “Cold Ironing” in collaboration with the association “Maritime Forum Kiel e.V.”.
Experts spoke about their experiences with Cold Ironing as well as technical, energetic, and political aspects of this process of providing shore-side electrical power. Erik Fridell from the NMU partner Swedish Environmental Institute have held a presentation about ship emissions.
