30th International WISTA Conference is hosted this year by WISTA Hellas (Women's International Shipping & Trading Association) and the main subject of the conference is "Achieving Sustainability - Paving the Way to Shipping Excellence".
WISTA aims to promote the scopes of the organization, giving support to and facilitating the exchange of contacts and experience amongst its members and the international shipping community. The conference’s main target is to continue its educative role, expand the networking opportunities as well as dominate its role as being the centre for the exchange of information among its members.
Expert speakers will present their papers on how sustainable progress can be achieved and shipping excellence can be reached by promoting and strengthening social, economical as well as environmental balance and stability.
The event is a great opportunity to listen to internationally recognized speakers, meet and exchange views with experts and decision-makers of the maritime industry.
The keynote speaker of the conference will be Mr. Efthimios E. Mitropoulos, Secretary General of IMO.
