NMU was represented at the biggest Norwegian fair and conference for transport and logistics - "Transport & Logistikk 2011". Harald Hjelle from Molde University College had the opportunity to disseminate the NMU project.
The international annual event took place on October 22-23, 2011, close to Oslo Airport, Gardermoen. The conference gathered 600 to 700 delegates typically representing the management of cargo-owners, public authorities, ports, shippers or road-hauliers. Such topics were given attention:
- Grocery stores in Norway. Cheap or expensive? What are the major cost drivers?
- Reducing Supply Chain Costs and Improving Agility through Complexity Reduction.
- Combination of multiple IT systems, ERP, WMS and TMS - The integration process and the selection of IT in logistics businesses.
- TMS in the logistics chain: What requirements allow our customers to the company's transportation system?
- Dynamic Supply Chains
