Joint project meeting in Copenhagen

An NMU project meeting took place in Copenhagen, Denmark from September 21 – 23. Steps towards implementing the NMU entity and secretariat after the project period were taken. Another important point on the agenda was the planning and organisation of the final conference in mid 2012, which will constitute a forum to promote the activities for sustainability. The main target group of the conference will be stakeholders, such as shipping lines and shipping ports, and educators. The international market launch of NMU in 2012 was discussed at the meeting as well.
